Veneta Cucine with Alessandro Borghese for the ninth season of ABKS.
THE GASTRONOMIC JOURNEY TO THE RHYTHM OF MUSIC RESUMES WITH NEW EPISODES FEATURING VENICE AND ICE CREAM, PROPOSALS FOR KIDS AND SPECIAL GUESTS.
Once again this year, Veneta Cucine is an active partner of Alessandro Borghese Kitchen Sound, the original gastronomic video encyclopaedia airing from Monday 17 June at lunchtime on Sky Uno and streaming on NOW. In the ninth season Chef Alessandro Borghese will be cooking up new tantalising recipes following the rhythm of his playlists, and in the all-new 30 episodes will be showing simple preparations that can be replicated viewers at home. The new episodes will be divided into four broad themes, alternating initially between Amici Miei and Venice, followed by the Kids and Ice Cream segments.
Featuring a mix of traditional recipes and innovative experimentation, Alessandro Borghese Kitchen Sound once again this year will make viewers want to don their chef´s aprons. Indeed, there will be plenty of must-have tips from chef Alessandro Borghese, with secrets and tricks of the trade all to be revealed as well as a roundup of special guests, who will put their creative flair at the disposal of the ABKS kitchen and accompany him on this sizzling culinary journey to the rhythm of music, which has become a TV cult with over 1000 episodes transmitted.
The four segments, which correspond to the four broad themes, will begin with the “Amici Miei” instalments, with extraordinary special guests such as creator Stefano Cavada, pizza star Renato Bosco and a line-up of starred chefs: Alessandro Negrini (Voce Aimo e Nadia in Milan), Christian and Manuel Costardi (Scatto in Turin and Christian & Manuel in Vercelli), Antonio Grazioli (Luminist in Naples), who will be cooking up tantalizing dishes along with chef Borghese.
The second theme instead will transport viewers amongst the tables of the Venetian restaurant AB - Il lusso della semplicità at Ca’ Vendramin Calergi, where the elegant, dream-like atmosphere of the Serenissima can be felt both inside the historic 16th century mansion and in the charming garden overlooking the Grand Canal. In “Venice” the dishes forming the refined establishment´s menu will be revealed and, not surprisingly, the in-studio guest will be the Resident Chef himself, Sebastiano Bodi.
After the episodes inspired by the flavours of the lagoon, space will be given to the theme of “Kids” because food is also fun! Paediatrician Luca Rosti will be returning to the studio to join chef Alessandro Borghese in preparing imaginative menus and playful yet healthy and balanced dishes specially devised to tempt the palates of little ones and encourage them to put on their aprons and help mum and dad in the kitchen. This segment is particularly close to the heart of chef Borghese, who has always paid the utmost attention to children´s nutrition. It is no coincidence that the prestigious Moige Award assigned to quality TV programmes has repeatedly awarded ABKS precisely for its constant commitment to providing parents with tips on how offer their children a healthy and tasty diet.
And to finish off, literally, the line-up just had to include one of the world´s best-loved desserts: ice cream. In “Ice Cream”, Italy´s most renowned master ice cream makers (Vetulio Bondi, Stefano Suzzi, Mauro Tononi, Luca Tentori, Chiara Spalluto) will test their skills in making five refreshing ice cream recipes, leaving viewers with their mouths watering.
This year again, the format will be preceded by "Aspettando #AleKitchenSound 2024", a cycle of digital pills that complements the TV airing, specifically designed for social media networks with their vertical format and ideal duration for viewing from smartphones. The video pills are already available on the @AleKitchenSound Instagram page.
